You would think that at some point as a society we would sit back and recognize that perhaps we have taken consumerism a little too far. Every fucking year this happens at least once. Sadly, this time it was a poor Wal-Mart worker stuck with a lousy Friday-after-Thanksgiving shift rather than a rabid shopper that lost their life in the name of saving a couple of bucks on some stupid piece-of-crap item that will probably be forgotten about by this time next year.
